Sword of Despair: Worth Upgrading or Not

Sword of Despair is the weapon dedicated to Guildna and acquirable upon the completion of Ogre King Revived. The weapon can be upgraded up to Lv.10 with drop items through rematches with the four sub Bosses residing near to Konium, each of which you will have a battle with in the course of the story.

165 20 Damage +300% upon 5 defeated P. RSS +15%
P. RSS: Physical Resistance

I like the concept that the outgoing damages increase when allies are defeated (and since Guildna is an ally-oriented guy), but I do not use this sword in a practical sense: simply want to keep all the party members healthy... While the rematches gave me much fun, I do not think there will be any disadvantage in the future (at least as of ver. 2.2.0) without upgrading the weapon.
