Overview

General Information

There are five elements; Fire, Water, Air, Earth and non-elemental (Nil). Some people count All-elemental as a kind, but I prefer to understand it as a hypernym (generic term) of the former 5 elements.

As shown in the above figure, each element except for non-elemental is generally superior to one of the others. There are some exceptions, but it is helpful in battles to understand this superiority mechanics.

Anomaly of Non-elemental

The damages of non-elemental magic attacks are affected by the rest of all the elemental resistance (de)buffs. A fire resistance buff, for example, mitigates an incoming damage of a non-elemental magic attack. Another example is that an Air resistance debuff increases an outgoing damage of such an attack.

It does not apply to those of physical attacks even in case of all-elemental (de)buffs.
