Thou Shalt Not Forget

No Magic Resistance

There is no (de)buffs for magic resistance. If you want to affect magic damages, you are required to use either Intelligence or elemental resistance (de)buff.

Anomaly of All-elemental Resistance (De)Buff

The all-elemental (de)buff affects non-elemental magic damages. I do not know why, but it does.

Superiority of Status (De)Buff

When you want to decrease incoming damages, the first option is the status debuff (Strength or Intelligence) on monsters rather than the resistance buff on characters. Similarly, in order to increase outgoing damages, the first option is the status buff rather than the resistance debuff. This principle is more outstanding when you have battles with higher level monsters. Below is an instance showing the principle.
